Terms of Service

By using Bro Science, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

What Bro Science is

Bro Science is a tool for logging and tracking your own strength training, with an optional AI coaching feature. It's a personal project, provided as-is.

Not medical or professional advice

Bro Science, including the AI coach, provides general training information, not medical, health, or professional advice. Strength training carries inherent risk of injury. You are responsible for training safely, and you should consult a qualified professional before starting or changing an exercise program, especially if you have any health condition. Use the app at your own risk.

Your account and content

• You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the data you enter.
• If you share a routine, or subscribe to one someone shared, you're responsible for judging whether that training is right for you. A shared routine is someone else's plan, not advice tailored to you.
• You retain ownership of the training data you create. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, sync, and (for the AI coach) process it to provide the app's features.
• Don't use the app for anything unlawful, or attempt to disrupt or abuse the service.

Objectionable content and abusive behavior

There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that harasses, threatens, demeans a person or group, is sexually explicit, or impersonates someone else is not allowed here, and neither is behavior that targets another person using the app.

• Report: every message, profile, and shared workout has a report action. Reports go to a person, not a queue nobody reads.
• Block: you can block anyone, friends or not. It takes effect immediately and in both directions: they stop seeing your training and cannot message you or send you a request. They are not told.
• Reviewed within 24 hours: every report is reviewed within 24 hours of being filed.
• Content that breaks these rules is removed, and the account that posted it can be suspended or removed without notice.

AI coach output

The AI coach can be wrong. Treat its suggestions as a starting point, not instructions to follow blindly, and apply your own judgment.

Brock subscription

Brock, the AI coach, is sold as an auto-renewable monthly subscription through Apple's In-App Purchase. The price is shown in the app before you buy and is charged to your Apple ID account when you confirm the purchase.

The subscription renews automatically each month at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can cancel at any time in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your device, and access continues until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.

Availability and changes

The app and its backend are provided without guarantee of uptime or availability, and features may change or be removed. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the change.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bro Science and its operator are not liable for any injury, loss, or damages arising from your use of the app, including reliance on any information or AI output it provides.
